AND......WE'RE BACK!!!
The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) Environmental Education and Outreach Mobile Classroom

BAYOU TOWN Productions, LLC is very happy to announce that the program formerly known as Watershed Harmony is now back in production with a new name, the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) Environmental Education and Outreach Mobile Classroom. This is the same program with a new name. To abbreviate, we like to call the program the MDEQ Mobile Classroom.

The MDEQ has entered back under contract with us to present the Mobile Classroom to Mississippi students in priority watersheds. We will be traveling to schools, educational events, conservation field days (or carnivals), and public events that include public library, day camp, youth club, and VBS programs to present environmental education to students of third through sixth grades.

Please watch the calendar for scheduled events and this news letter for specific information about the areas where we will be scheduling events.

A very heart-felt thank you to all of our supporters who called or wrote letters to the MDEQ to request that they continue to fund this program for environment education. Your voice was heard and they worked long and hard to provide this program for you and the students of Mississippi. You have made this program a success and we thank you sincerely for your support!

We are scheduling now! If you would like to schedule an event and have found that your school or group is located in the areas we have included on this page or would like to find out if it is, please contact Cherie or Ron Schadler at bayoutown@att.net or call (228)586-0479. We look forward to hearing from you!
